Job Summary
As a Part-time Customer Support Representative - Chat and Online Engagement Specialist, you will play a critical role in engaging with customers online, providing accurate information about our products and services, and turning conversations into leads that drive revenue for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Customer Inquiries: Respond to a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing timely and accurate information about our products and services.
- Provide Product and Service Information: Offer detailed information about our products and services, addressing customer questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule Appointments: Narrow down appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customer needs are met and our clients' goals are achieved.
- Capture Customer Contact Information: Collect customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring that our clients have the insights they need to drive revenue growth.
- Summarize Interactions: Summarize interactions based on customer needs, providing valuable insights for client review and ensuring that our clients have a clear understanding of customer engagement.
- Develop and Maintain Knowledge Base: Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services, ensuring that you have the information you need to provide exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary. We welcome applications from individuals with a strong passion for customer service and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate internet and window-based computer skills are required. Strong ability to multitask is preferred, and gaming experience is helpful.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and clients.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment is critical. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typing Speed: Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 WPM or above preferred.
- Flexible Scheduling: Flexible scheduling after completion of training is required. You must be able to work a minimum of 16+ hours per week.
- Training Attendance: Ability to attend 5 weeks of training, Monday - Friday from 4PM - 8PM, is required.
