Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies, dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes. The Territory Manager will focus on developing customer relationships and achieving sales quotas through a consultative approach in Pre-Hospital sales and marketing of various medical products.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for calling on Hospital staff and decision makers, including private and municipal ambulance services, fire departments, police, volunteer Hospital services, and all customers in the market
- Develops and implements business plans to identify and close business. Expected to utilize and leverage Hospital tools
- Prepares forecasts for yearly, quarterly and monthly business
- Participates in sales workshops, sales meetings, and/or promotional activities as requested by Hospital Manager and/or Marketing Leadership and Medical Division
- Provides current customers with excellent post-sale follow-up (communication and management of delivery dates, in-service training, and coordinates product repairs)
- Accountable for maintaining customer records in accordance with Stryker specifications; including quarterly market share updates when requested
- Actively participates in national, regional, and local Hospital trade shows
Skills
- University Degree
- 1+ years outside sales or clinical experience
- Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology
- 3+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales or clinical setting
