About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and versatile Lead Full Stack + Mobile Engineer who can drive success across multiple areas of our business. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions that delight our customers, drive conversion, increase retention, and grow user engagement. Your expertise will span the entire software development lifecycle, from backend to frontend, infrastructure, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and web
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and products
- Work on backend systems, including messaging, scheduling, payments, and infrastructure scaling and performance optimization
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and other technologies
- Participate in test and deployment automation, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of software updates
- Contribute to the development of our product roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer needs
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical skills, business acumen, and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The following requirements are essential:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 6 years of work experience in software development, with a focus on full stack and mobile engineering
- Demonstrable success as a customer champion, with a track record of solving complex customer issues and driving business impact
- Deep expertise in at least four of the following systems: iOS, Android, Python, React, SQL, LLM ML, Javascript, Payments, Text message & email deliverability, API development, Enterprise software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
