Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Professional in our Environmental Services department, you'll be responsible for:
- Maintaining all floors, walls, windows, fixtures, and furnishings in a clean and sanitary condition according to departmental procedures and infection control guidelines.
- Utilizing knowledge of proper cleaning and infection control procedures in specific areas, such as patient rooms, operating theaters, and common areas.
- Communicating effectively with Housekeeping Leads and Admitting teams to ensure seamless coordination and status updates on room readiness.
- Performing other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
