Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all federal and state regulations
- Transport dedicated freight to assigned destinations, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and other drivers to coordinate routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records, including logs, receipts, and other documentation as required
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
- Current CDL-A license with a minimum of 6 months recent qualified driving experience
- At least 22 years of age
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet all federal and state regulatory requirements
- Excellent driving record with no major accidents or violations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of dedicated truck driving experience
- Experience with no-touch freight and drop-and-hook operations
