The Exception Processor performs work under general supervision and will require considerable training and experience and broad working knowledge of a special matter. Under immediate supervision, the associate will ensure proper processing of data updates. The associate will perform routine tasks requiring a working knowledge of the client’s products and services.Responsibilities * Accurately enter data updates in specific software programs. Communicates appropriate options for resolution promptly. Maintains a high level of confidentiality, informational accuracy, and production. Participates in team meetings, making recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness as appropriate. Must be familiar with telephone systems and window-based computer applications. Provides functional guidance, training, and assistance to new hire staff as needed. Must be able to work under strict deadlines and timeframes. All other duties as assigned. RequirementsEducation/Skill/Experience Requirements: * Strong written and oral communication skills are a must At least 1 year of Customer Service experience High School diploma, or college degree (preferred) Knowledge of the use of PCs and related software Strong analytical abilities and data entry background Proficient keyboard skills and typing speed Excellent time and attendance commitment Ability to multi-task and follow guidelines or direction Willing to learn new tasks and be cross-trained in multiple functions and areas Attention to detail and accuracy oriented Background and drug screen required. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business needs, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
