Join Us as a Vice President of Operations
The Vice President of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across our growing multi-state organization, ensuring operational excellence, service delivery efficiency, data integrity, and cross-departmental alignment. This role oversees key operational and clinical support departments, drives performance metrics, strengthens reporting and auditing systems, and partners closely with state leadership to achieve company growth, compliance, and service goals.
The VP of Ops is responsible for optimizing infrastructure across multiple service lines, including ABA, Speech, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, and Social Work, while ensuring consistent execution across all operating states. This position is required to travel as needed to operating states/EI Centers and expansion sites.
What You'll Do:
Operational Execution & Department Oversight
- Provide direct operational oversight across four states to ensure consistency in service delivery, workflow execution, and departmental accountability.
- Oversee the Director of Operations and support operational leaders in managing day-to-day performance and issue resolution.
- Oversee leadership of department directors, including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, and Social Work.
- Ensure operational priorities are executed consistently across departments and geographic markets.
Productivity & Department Performance
- Monitor productivity expectations across departments and work with leaders to address performance gaps.
- Review staffing utilization, scheduling trends, and service delivery metrics to improve operational performance.
- Support department leaders in maintaining productivity standards aligned with company expectations.
Reporting, Efficiency & Auditing
- Help create and strengthen operational reporting systems that improve visibility into departmental performance.
- Develop processes that improve efficiency, reduce operational barriers, and support consistent workflow execution.
- Oversee auditing processes related to team performance, documentation practices, scheduling accuracy, and operational follow-through.
- Identify trends and operational gaps and work with leaders to implement corrective action.
Clinical Records & Data Accuracy
- Ensure all data within CR systems is accurate and maintained consistently across departments, including but not limited to:
- schedules
- billing codes
- unconverted sessions
- cancellation reasons
- Partner with operational leaders to improve data accountability and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Monitor operational reporting tied to service delivery accuracy and scheduling integrity.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Coordinate with Regional Clinical Directors and department leaders across operations including but not limited to, intake, marketing, recruiting, and clinical teams to support department goals.
- Promote collaboration between departments to improve census flow, service conversion, and operational responsiveness.
- Assist in removing barriers that impact service delivery, scheduling, and client access.
Operational Improvement
- Support implementation of operational initiatives established by executive leadership.
- Recommend workflow improvements based on performance data and operational trends.
- Assist in scaling operational processes as the organization continues to grow.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Lead or support additional operational initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional priorities as assigned by executive leadership in alignment with company objectives.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Services, or related field; Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- BCBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive operational leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or multi-site service environments
- Minimum of 3 years of direct leadership experience managing directors, managers, or multi-department teams
- Experience overseeing operations across multiple locations and/or multiple states
- Strong knowledge of productivity management, workflow optimization, operational reporting, and performance accountability
- Experience working with scheduling systems, service authorization processes, and operational data management
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency, implement process improvements, and support department performance
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working across intake, marketing, recruiting, clinical, and administrative teams
- Proficiency in operational reporting systems, dashboards, and data review
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
Work Location & Hours:
This is a fully remote position but you must currently live in one of the following US States: AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, OH, PA, TX, VA. There will be some travel required to various business locations. The core hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Eastern.

Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and experience equity.
