As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patients and partners, resolving medical-related inquiries, and collaborating with carriers to ensure coverage of medication. If you have a strong background in call center experience, medical terminology, and insurance processes, we'd love to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer inbound calls, occasionally make outbound calls to assist with medically related inquiries * Use computer skills for data entry, gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information * Collaborate with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient * Provide positive customer service and empathy to patients and partners * Utilize medical terminology and insurance processes to resolve complex issues * Work collaboratively with the customer service team to achieve shared goals and objectives **Essential Qualifications** * 1 year or more of recent call center experience (no exceptions) * Strong background in medical terminology and insurance processes * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * High-speed internet with modem access * Basic computer skills, including data entry and software applications **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment * Knowledge of medical billing and coding * Certification in medical terminology or a related field * Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work collaboratively with the customer service team * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
