Purpose of the Role
As a Service Operations Coordinator, you’ll be right at the heart of our service organisation the person who keeps everything moving, aligned, and running smoothly. You’ll coordinate and schedule wind turbine service activities across multiple sites, making sure our technicians have what they need, our customers stay informed, and our turbines stay turning. Think of this role as the operational hub that connects field teams, service management, customers, and support functions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Planning & Coordination
- Support Team Leads with turbine mobilisation and demobilisation, including issuing work orders, checking completion, reviewing parts usage, and validating technician hours.
- Plan and schedule routine maintenance, servicing tasks, and outstanding items to meet operational and contractual commitments.
- Act as the go to operational contact for site teams, offering clear direction and timely support.
- Work closely with Service Managers, Team Leaders, and Technicians every day to keep the Service Plan on track.
- Prioritise faults based on severity and contractual requirements to ensure fast, effective triage.
Performance & Customer Communication
- Lead weekly Service Plan reviews with the Head of Service.
- Keep customers and Area Managers updated on outages, breakdowns, rectifications, and planned work.
- Track turbine availability, maintenance progress, and response times to ensure we hit performance targets.
- Prepare performance insights and service documentation for customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate, compliant service records to support audits and contractual obligations.
Resource & Logistics Management
- Optimise technician allocation to reduce downtime and minimise travel costs.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and vehicle logistics with the Fleet Manager.
- Manage site access requirements, permits, keys, and ensure compliance with local site rules.
Continuous Improvement & Safety
- Spot recurring faults, trends, and operational inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
- Support improvements in planning, scheduling, and reporting workflows.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen safety, quality, and operational excellence across the service organisation.
What You Bring
- Experience in service planning, scheduling, or operational coordination (energy or renewables experience is a bonus).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
- Confidence using service management systems, work order tools, and MS Office.
- A safety‑first mindset and a sharp eye for detail
