About the Role: Senior Information Architect
The Information Designing group within Disney's DDSI is seeking a seasoned Senior Information Architect to collaborate with Studios and Project Technology colleagues on various data-related activities. Your responsibilities will include gathering data requirements, validating data, designing and implementing ETL/ELT data pipelines, and ensuring seamless data integration across multiple environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and Production. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with a passion for Disney's legacy and a knack for working with a wide range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Airflow, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and validate data
- Develop and maintain database mappings, tables, and views
- Build batch processes using Airflow to support data integration
- Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple environments
- Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and ETL/ELT data pipelines
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3
- 3+ years of experience in an Information Designing or Data Engineering role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Gitlab, Airflow, AWS S3, and relational databases
- 2+ years of experience working with a cloud platform and data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Databricks, and Docker
Preferred Qualifications:

- A graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field
