Job Summary
As a Senior Data Analyst at Home Depot, you will work closely with a team of skilled investigators and programming engineers to design and implement state-of-the-art data science and analytics applications that drive business growth and improvement. You will collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to determine requirements and quickly transform specifications into high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and programming, with experience working with large datasets and advanced analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners, engineers, UX architects, and end-users to determine requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
- Design and implement data science and analytics solutions using languages like Python, R, and SQL
- Apply strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics, including hypothesis testing, probability, and regression, to inform business decisions
- Develop and deploy AI algorithms using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other tools
- Create data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Use strong SQL skills to manage data, including writing stored procedures, functions, and scripts
- Apply knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and BigQuery Assistant
- Develop interactive dashboards and advanced data visualizations using Tableau or similar technology
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a field related to data analysis, computer science, or statistics
- At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, and SQL
