Job Title: Senior Google Cloud Practice Director We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead the launch of our new Google Cloud practice. This strategic role combines technical expertise with business development, requiring you to drive presales activities, lead initial project deliveries, and build out our Google Cloud capabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Lead technical workshops, whiteboard sessions, and architecture planning with enterprise clients. • Collaborate with commercial leads to create solution proposals, estimates, SOWs, and roadmaps aligned to Google Cloud best practices. • Build trust with VP and C-level stakeholders through direct engagement and expert solution guidance. Early Project Delivery & Billable Engagement: • Initially, spend approximately 30-40% of your time on billable client work to bootstrap the practice while helping close anchor accounts. • Serve as technical lead on delivery for the first 1-2 engagements to ensure excellence and establish referenceability. • Guide the handoff to LATAM engineering pods and maintain technical oversight as projects scale. • Define reusable frameworks, delivery patterns, and accelerators focused on Google Cloud adoption for retail, CPG, and other verticals. • Partner with recruiting and engineering leadership to hire, coach, and structure the practice's future architects and pod leads. • Help design certification uplift and training plans across LATAM teams to meet partner tier goals. Requirements: • 5+ years in architecture roles. • 5+ years in a consulting/services environment. • Experience in presales support, client workshops, RFP response, and proposal delivery. • Proven ability to engage VPs, CIOs, CTOs, and business stakeholders in both technical and strategic discussions. • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification (minimum required). • Experience designing and delivering complex GCP solutions (BigQuery, GKE, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, etc.). • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), security best practices, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures. • Advanced level of English. • Experience in retail, logistics, or consumer technology modernization. • Additional certifications (Data Engineer, ML Engineer, Security Engineer).
