Collaborate with field sales reps to manage territory account activities – prospecting, quotes, upselling.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email about products and quote requests
• Proactively contact customers (“warm leads”) to develop sales opportunities; schedule customer appointments for field sales team when relevant
• Assist with marketing campaigns, tradeshows, etc.
• Upsell service contracts and reagents
Qualifications
• BS in life sciences
• 3 years experience in customer support/sales of life science products
• Familiarity with accounts (academic, biotech and pharma) in the regions a plus
• Basic knowledge of protein and/or cell based techniques (westerns, flow cytometry, elisas, etc. )
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong collaborative skills – ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
