They are seeking a driven and passionate Student Advisor to act as a sales consultant, guiding prospective students towards the educational solutions that best fit their needs and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with all new leads within one hour of them downloading a resource, purchasing a product, or expressing interest, providing a seamless and welcoming introduction to Akadian
- Act as a trusted advisor. Understand goals, answer questions clearly, and provide insightful guidance on educational and career pathways
- Proactively and consistently follow up with warm leads—abandoned carts, previous inquiries, and upsell opportunities—to help them determine their best next steps and enroll in a suitable package
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing the sale, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every student

- Experience with both appointment-setting and closing

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- High personal accountability, organization, and self-motivation (remote readiness)
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume pipeline

- Basic understanding of accounting career paths (bookkeeper, staff accountant, CPA, etc.) and common tools (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
