The Virtual Hub is an established business with a start-up mindset seeking a CPA-qualified finance leader to manage their multi-entity finance function. The role involves overseeing financial accuracy, leading a team, and enhancing financial reporting and controls as the company scales.
Responsibilities
• Owning the accuracy and integrity of all group financial records
• Leading month-end close and delivering a consistent, on-time financial reporting pack by the same date every month
• Developing and evolving meaningful management reports, dashboards, and scorecards that enable faster, better decisions
• Managing group consolidation, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and transfer pricing considerations
• Liaising with external accountants and advisors in each jurisdiction to ensure timely statutory accounts and tax filings
• Leading and developing a small team of finance assistants
• Becoming deeply familiar with end-to-end payroll processes across regions, ensuring best-practice controls, compliance, and risk mitigation are consistently applied
• Supporting reconciliations, journal entries, and clean data where required — this is not a hands-off role
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for better reporting, automation, and efficiency within the finance function
• Acting as a trusted financial partner to the CEO and COO as the business scales
Skills
• CPA qualification
• Strong group consolidation and elimination experience
• Experience with intercompany and transfer payments
• Deep expertise in Xero
• Strong systems mindset and comfort working in a remote, transparent environment
• A practical, accountable approach — you care about getting things right, not just reviewing others' work
• Proven experience in multi-region organisations (US and Asia experience strongly preferred)
• Experience with Fathom, Syft, or similar reporting tools
• Experience using work management tools such as Asana or monday.com
