Nascentia Health is a leader in post-acute and long-term community-based care, and they are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support their Payroll Manager and team. The role involves maintaining employee payroll data, assisting with payroll reporting, and ensuring accurate payroll processing across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in processing employee late time sheets, time and attendance timecards and payroll reports from all systems used in both a timely and accurate manner
- Assist employees with questions regarding payroll related issues
- Completing verification of employment forms
- Handling of garnishment entries
- Processing of weekly planned and unplanned reports for all Home Health Aides
- Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance standards
- Maintain both patient and employee confidentiality
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of any active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)
- Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or department director
Skills
- High school diploma with relevant payroll experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Human Resources/Payroll systems
- Accurate data entry a must
- Proficiency with 10 key calculators
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Associate's degree preferred
- ADP experience strongly preferred
