Part-Time Social Media Manager (20 Hours/Week)
About Julota
Julota unites the helper community, including Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Social Services, Public Health, and Behavioral Health, so that communities can deliver better care together. Our platform enables agencies to securely share data with consent, coordinate services, and track outcomes that reduce 911 overuse, ER visits, and jail diversions. Customers stay with Julota because we stay close to them, listen deeply, and build what actually works in the field. We work with mission-driven leaders across the country who are tackling some of the most complex challenges communities face. Our social presence should reflect that reality clearly, human, confident, and grounded in real impact, not corporate noise.
The Role
This is not a “post what you’re told” role. We are looking for a part-time Social Media Manager who will fully own Julota’s social presence. You will shape our voice, drive creativity, and turn attention into engagement with the long-term goal of generating demo interest from our social channels. You will run our existing channels and have the autonomy to launch and grow new ones where it makes sense.
Time Commitment: ~20 hours per week
Status: Part-time / Contract (W2 or 1099)
What You’ll Own
Channels
• Julota’s company LinkedIn page
• One of Julota’s founder’s LinkedIn profiles
• Additional social channels you believe are worth launching and scaling
Creative & Voice
• Own the creative direction for Julota’s social presence
• Write and publish content that is clear, human, confident, and engaging
• Test formats including text, carousels, short videos, and visuals
• Repurpose longer-form content such as blogs, webinars, and customer stories into social-native posts
• Maintain consistency while evolving the voice and style
Growth & Performance
• Drive increased impressions, reach, and engagement
• Experiment, learn, and iterate quickly
• Align social activity to pipeline impact, with the goal of influencing demos over time
• Track performance and share insights, patterns, and recommendations
What Success Looks Like
• Julota’s social channels feel active, intentional, and recognizable
• Engagement and reach grow consistently month over month
• Founder content builds credibility and visibility in the market
• Social becomes a meaningful top-of-funnel contributor to demo interest
• You operate with autonomy while staying aligned to Julota’s mission and goals
Who This Role Is For
You are likely a strong fit if you:
• Enjoy owning outcomes, not just executing tasks
• Think in hooks, angles, and narratives
• Are comfortable testing ideas quickly and learning in public
• Can balance creativity with light structure and planning
• Communicate clearly and confidently
• Don’t need step-by-step instructions to do great work
What You Bring
• Experience managing social media for a brand, founder, or organization
• Strong writing instincts and an eye for what stops the scroll
• Comfort engaging with comments, conversations, and community
• Ability to turn complex ideas into compelling, approachable content
• Working knowledge of social performance metrics
• Bonus: experience with LinkedIn-first growth for B2B, SaaS, or GovTech audiences
What We Offer
• Clear ownership and creative autonomy
• Direct access to leadership and decision-makers
• Freedom to experiment and shape the social strategy
• A part-time role with real impact and room to grow to a full-time position if desired
Nice to Haves
• Experience managing social media for audiences in law enforcement, Fire/EMS, behavioral health, public health, or other government-facing organizations
• Comfort navigating professional, regulated, or mission-driven spaces while still creating engaging, human content
• Familiarity with B2B, GovTech, or SaaS social media strategies, especially on LinkedIn
• Experience using HubSpot for campaign tracking, attribution, or tying social activity to pipeline insights
• Ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align social content with broader go-to-market efforts
Compensation:
$3,000 per month for approximately 20 hours per week, plus performance-based bonus incentives tied to social channel growth and demo influence.
Bonus incentives may include:
• Month-over-month impressions and engagement growth
• Meaningful increases in reach on company and founder channels
• Demo requests that can be reasonably attributed to social activity in Hubspot
Specific bonus targets and structures will be aligned collaboratively once baseline performance is established.
In The Interview
