Are you a state-certified teacher with a passion for English Language Arts and supporting English Language Learners? EiFO Academy is hiring enthusiastic and experienced ELA teachers to lead small-group, online classes on weekday mornings between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM Eastern Time. Weekend availability is a strong plus. We are currently hiring for our Spring Term, and onboarding will begin immediately to ensure teachers are fully prepared and scheduled ahead of the term’s start.

We provide personalized learning experiences in a supportive, collaborative environment. Most of our ELL/ESL students are international, participating from Asia during their local afterschool hours.

Job Type: Part-time, Contractor
Location: Remote (Work from home)
Subjects: English Language Arts (ELA)/ELL/ESL
Target Grades: Grades 5–8 certification preferred; K–4 certified teachers may also apply
Class Length: 45 to 55 minutes
Compensation
Starts at $12.50 per 30-minute class
Additional pay for grading and feedback on writing assignments
Class Size: 4 to 6 students
Schedule Focus: Weekday mornings between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM ET
Weekend Availability: Preferred and considered a hiring advantage Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with ELL (English Language Learner) students
State certification (any state) for Grades 5–8 (or K–4 with relevant experience)
Strong background in reading and writing instruction
Tech proficiency and comfort with online instruction platforms
Teachers who understand and use TPR and props appropriately Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, student-centered ELL/ESL lessons online
Support English learners with targeted strategies and feedback
Assess and provide written feedback on student writing assignments (when applicable)
Track student progress and communicate effectively with staff
