They are currently seeking an Interior Designer who is passionate and thrives in a dynamic team environment, focusing on creating branded, interior, amenity spaces for top housing developers across the country.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with team members, engineers and other consultants for coordination of work
- Utilizes interior architectural space planning, 3D visualization, knowledge of materials and common building practices to create a design and carry it through to completion alongside our team of experts
- Delivers design intent, verbally, graphically and in writing to the internal design team
- Contributes to the production of design documents and detailed development of construction documents during all project phases
- Assists in Contract Administration including, review of shop drawings, material submittals and site visits during construction
- Assists in assembling furniture presentations, specification packages, interior design and finish presentations
- Assists in on-site furniture, art and accessory installations
Skills
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design
- 1-3 years of interior architectural project types - multifamily & hospitality preferred
- Possesses general knowledge of construction details, building codes and accessibility standards
- Capability with Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam
- Ability to Commute: Baltimore, MD 21202 (Required)
- Work Location: Hybrid, In person 3 days a week (Required)
