The VP of Talent Delivery is a senior operations leadership role responsible for owning LaunchCode’s end-to-end talent delivery engine—enrollment, training, career coaching, recruiting, and job placement. This role drives the performance, speed, and quality of the delivery pipeline to meet annual placement targets and revenue goals.
This is a player-coach role inside a mission-driven organization that operates at the pace and accountability of a for-profit staffing firm. You will lead a small team, serve as the commercial and operational filter between sales pods and delivery execution, and function as an individual contributor when the situation demands it. You bring operational discipline, commercial fluency, and the ability to move at speed. You are hands-on when needed, strategic when required, and direct at all times. Role Responsibilities
- Own the full talent delivery funnel from enrollment through placement and retention, driving continuous improvement across the pipeline to increase speed, conversion, and stakeholder experience
- Elevate the candidate and employer partner experience, prioritizing external-facing improvements that directly impact revenue generation and client satisfaction
- Oversee and build ATS workflows to increase automation, visibility, and operational efficiency across the pipeline
- Serve as the primary operational and commercial filter for placement opportunities, evaluating deal viability across talent alignment, pricing, contract and feedback loops
- Partner directly with sales pods (Account Executive, Account Manager, Recruiter) and the CEO to assess and greenlight deals
- Lead, evaluate, and develop the Talent Delivery team with clear performance standards, making personnel decisions quickly and decisively
- Recruit and hire to strengthen team capacity and capability
- Oversee the operational buildout of the AI Adoption Task Force placement model, building delivery infrastructure for this emerging program
- Architect scalable systems and processes that support high-volume placements without degrading quality or speed
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting operations, or talent delivery, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Direct experience managing placement targets and revenue goals in a staffing, recruiting, or talent services environment
- Demonstrated success building, managing, and restructuring teams while maintaining operational output
- Experience with ATS platforms, pipeline management tooling, and operational systems design in a high-volume placement environment
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with entry-level career changer populations alongside mid-level and senior technical recruiting
- Exposure to emerging AI workforce initiatives, upskilling programs, or technology adoption consulting
