Salary: Insurance & Billing Specialist/Manager Location: Multi-location Oral Surgery Group (4 Locations) *This position can be managed from Dallas, Flower Mound or our Denton location. Job Type: Full-Time About Us: We are a well-established oral surgery group with four busy locations, dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance & Billing Specialist/Manager to join our team. Position Summary: The Insurance & Billing Specialist plays a critical role in the financial health of the practice. This position is responsible for managing the full insurance billing cyclefrom claim submission to payment posting and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and has experience working in a dental or oral surgery billing environment. Key Responsibilities: • File all insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner • Submit required documentation and attachments to support claims • Monitor and follow up on unpaid or denied insurance claims • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues • Manage credentialing • Work with the remote team to make certain patient's insurance benefits are verified prior to date of service • Hospital case approval and payment • Refund over payments in a timely manner • Post insurance payments and reconcile patient accounts • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and coding requirements • Work collaboratively with front office staff and surgeons to ensure accurate billing and patient account management Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical or dental billing (oral surgery experience preferred) • Strong knowledge of dental and medical insurance processes • Proficient with billing software and electronic claims submission • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently What We Offer: • Competitive salary based on experience • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, retirement plan) • Supportive team environment • Opportunities for professional growth • Experience with DSN Cloud is a plus • This position will be on site at one our Dallas, Flower Mound or Denton locations. • SEND resume to: [email protected] Apply tot his job
