We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Financial Analyst & Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Investment and Asset Management teams, you will play a crucial role in evaluating new investment opportunities, assisting with back-office operations, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis for acquisition, disposition, and financing of retail commercial real estate and related investments
- Model various equity and debt financing options, gather and process data on market rents, vacancy, sales comps, and more
- Collaborate with the VP of Acquisitions to track offers, collect and analyze due diligence, gather debt quotes, and prepare investor memos
- Assist with asset management, property management, and accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and rent collections
- Update web-based leasing marketing channels and provide support for opportunistic investment analysis
Requirements and Qualifications:
- University-level degree (or graduate level) with strong academic credentials in business, accounting, real estate, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of financial analysis or accounting experience, with real estate acquisitions analysis, valuation, cash flow forecasting, and/or property management experience a plus
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with experience in AppFolio or other web-based accounting/property management software systems desirable
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills, with a keen interest in learning all aspects of the real estate investment business
- Organized self-starter with critical thinking and prioritization skills, committed to learning from leadership and offering fresh ideas
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $2,750 - $3,000 USD/month
- Flexible working hours (Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week) with a schedule that falls between 7am - 6pm Central Time Zone
