**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX, and other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for analyzing large data sets, identifying causal relationships, and predicting future outcomes of key business drivers. You'll work on advanced data analytics, marketing analytics, statistics, business intelligence, pricing, and financial modeling within a wireless and telecommunications industry.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
* Develop and maintain advanced data analytics models, including regression, cluster analysis, classification, random forest, sentiment analysis, A/B testing, optimization, factor analysis, time series analysis, dimension reduction, variable selection, and other analysis
* Utilize programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and SAS to access, query, clean, and merge multiple large data sets
* Design, maintain, and update interactive online dashboards using tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau
* Conduct end-to-end analyses, including data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations
* Provide insight on data and research activities, including team productivity, sales performance, and economic impact
* Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
* Work on automate data extract, transform, and load process
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
**Essential Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
* 2 years of experience in a related occupation, utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
* Strong programming skills in R, Python, SQL, and SAS
* Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau
* Advanced data analytics and business intelligence skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with relational databases and ad hoc SQL query development
* Knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, including regression, cluster analysis, classification, random forest, sentiment analysis, A/B testing, optimization, factor analysis, time series analysis, dimension reduction, variable selection, and other analysis
* Experience with data discovery and visualization skills using a combination of languages and tools
* Certification in Statistical Business Analysis and Advanced Programming
