Our company culture is built on the values of safety, efficiency, and innovation, and we are always looking for talented individuals who share our vision. **Job Description** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. You will analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and use this information to make recommendations for process improvements. Your work will help to support our company's objectives, including keeping costs low, modernizing our operations, and improving compliance. **Responsibilities and Obligations** The responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, approval, and root cause analysis on data components. * Helping to create and convey results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Helping to explore ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to allow Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Presenting insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from different sources, laying out the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Information, Skills, Work Style, and Abilities** The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities: * Ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate thoughts and present written, verbal, or presentation-based to discussions of varying audiences. * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting measurements. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office * Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred * Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-based environment * Ability to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred * Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately. * Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work on a 12-week temporary position, from May 21 to August 9, 2024.
