About the Role We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced bookkeeper who is passionate about working with numbers and helping businesses succeed. As a Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper, you will have the freedom to work from home, set your own schedule, and enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $25.00. You will be responsible for providing exceptional bookkeeping services to our clients, including entering monthly transactions, reconciling accounts, invoicing, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Key Responsibilities Enter monthly transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, and other software Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness Prepare and send invoices to clients, and match invoice payments to keep accounts receivable up to date Manage accounts payable, including entering bills into bill.com, bank ACH, Melio, QBO AP, or other software Download bank statements and perform other tasks to support the team Potential opportunity to run payroll for clients Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including accrual accounting and journal entries Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, and other accounting software Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Located in the Denver metro area, with occasional in-person meetings with clients Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates who have: Tax preparation experience Knowledge of payroll integration, sales tax, and Excel pivot tables and vlookups Experience with QB Desktop, Sage, or other accounting software HR or operations experience A growth mindset, with a desire to learn and take on new challenges Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong technical skills, including proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Career Growth Opportunities At Finance Pals, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
