Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Part-Time Accountant (Job Share), you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and monitoring revenue budgets and final accounts for a range of services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing expert financial guidance and advice to officers across the council, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Assisting with procurement activities, including tendering and contract management, to ensure best value and compliance.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced accountant with:

- CIPFA qualification (or other CCAB).
