About the Opportunity
This 13-week local contract nursing job offers a competitive hourly rate of $35-40 per hour and a flexible 8-hour shift schedule. The successful candidate will be working with Monument Health, a reputable healthcare organization committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate care delivery and promote health and a safe environment through health teaching and health promotion.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Provide leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession by staying current with best practices and integrating research findings into practice.
- Practice within the legal scope of a Registered Professional Nurse as outlined by the state of South Dakota and deliver competent care consistent with standards, policies, laws, and regulations.
- Proficiently use applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the quality of patient care delivery through innovative and creative problem-solving.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:
- 1+ year of Registered Nurse experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
