Job Overview
As a Pickup & Dropoff Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to our riders using our user-friendly app. Your responsibilities will include accepting ride requests, picking up and delivering packages, documents, and other items to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. You will ensure that all packages and documents are securely transported, maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, and follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Accept ride requests from our users and provide safe and reliable transportation services to their destination
- Pickup and deliver packages and documents to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure all packages and documents are securely transported and maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with riders and our support team
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service at all times, and ensure that your vehicle meets all safety requirements and is clean and well-maintained
- Report any issues or concerns with packages, documents, or your vehicle to the appropriate personnel in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements for Success
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Have access to a reliable vehicle that meets our company's vehicle requirements
- Be able to pass a background check and driving record check, and provide proof of insurance
- Have a smartphone that is capable of running our app, and be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential
In addition to these essential requirements, we are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication and customer service skills, are able to work independently, and are comfortable using technology, including our app and other software systems.
