Job Overview

The Healthcare Informatics Adjunct Faculty position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with time in our office, and provides a competitive salary package commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in-person and synchronous (live online) courses, preparing students for leadership roles in the complex and dynamic healthcare informatics field. Through well-designed curriculum, the Program aims to advance the quality and safety of healthcare through the effective use of information technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction
• Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students
• Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors
• Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process
• Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies
• Participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Apply understanding to guide approach to all aspects of the job and the community as a whole

Requirements and Qualifications

• An earned master's degree in Informatics, Healthcare Informatics, or similar degree in alignment with course content
