About the Role
As the Fitness Director at QNTM Fit Life, you will be the driving force behind our training department, overseeing a team of personal trainers and group fitness instructors who cater to our diverse clientele across in-person, offsite, and online platforms. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the fitness experience for our members, driving sales, and promoting a culture of excellence within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Leadership: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeted net income targets for the training department.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute effective prospecting strategies to maximize member retention and increase personal training sales.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and guide personal trainers and group fitness instructors to achieve their personal and professional goals.
- Fitness Expertise: Serve as a point of reference for fitness knowledge within the club, providing education on current health and fitness trends and ensuring trainers deliver high-quality programs.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the administration of personal training client files, measurement tracking, and workout programs, as well as manage personal training billing, accounting, and commission systems.
- Group X Team Leadership: Maintain Group X growth and usage, ensuring the team is productive and aligned with club goals.
- General Leadership: Uphold company standards, lead by example, and actively participate in day-to-day club operations and special events.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel as a Fitness Director at QNTM Fit Life, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Exercise Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in health and fitness management and sales, with a preference for prior personal training management or sales management experience.
- A personal training certification from a recognized organization such as NSCA, ACE, PTA Global, ACSM, AFAA, CI, or NASM.
- Knowledge of fitness software such as FitMetrix and DataTrak.
- A current CPR certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A passion for health and wellness, with a customer-centric approach.
- The ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends.
