About the Role: Digital Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns designed to support our business objectives, enhance our online presence, increase website traffic and engagement, and generate leads for both lending and deposit verticals. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing the flexibility to manage your work environment and schedule, as long as you have a stable internet connection and the necessary tools to perform your duties.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Digital Marketing Campaign Development and Implementation: Plan and implement multi-touch digital marketing plans to support Sales AE initiatives and select retail direct-to-consumer goals. This includes a mix of tactics like email marketing, paid search, display advertising, paid/organic social media, lead generation, and publisher advertising.
- Social Media Management: Manage the company’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and create engaging content to increase followers and drive traffic to our conversion points.
- Creative Asset Development: Develop creative assets to support marketing campaigns as necessary.
- Campaign Coordination: Coordinate the implementation of marketing campaigns, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables, and facilitating the review process between Marketing managers, business owners, and compliance.
- Market and Customer Research: Assist in market and customer research initiatives related to product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaign objectives, optimize campaign tactics, and facilitate reviews and approvals.
Reporting, Analytics, and Insights
- Performance Tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor marketing metrics and analytics, and make recommendations to improve the performance of existing tactics.
- Analytics Tools: Utilize analytics tools (GA4, Hubspot Reporting) to monitor and analyze campaign performance and provide regular reports with actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.
Compliance and Best Practices
- Industry Regulations: Ensure all marketing activities follow industry regulations and company policies.
- Staying Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Marketing Automation and Website CMS
- Marketing Workflows: Develop and implement marketing workflows and automations to increase the usage and adoption of products and services.
- Hubspot and WordPress: Actively work within the Marketing, Content, and Automation interfaces within Hubspot and the website CMS (WordPress) to develop, execute, and manage campaigns.
Marketing Operations
- Intranet Management: Collaborate with various departments to manage and update the company Intranet and implement tactics to drive user engagement.
- Employer Branding: Assist the marketing team in executing against employer branding initiatives, such as creating internal assets and posting content via social media and intranet sites.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties within the marketing department, including maintaining policies and procedures, coordinating systems access reports, and satisfying training requirements.
Requirements, Competencies, and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated success in developing and executing digital marketing tactics such as email marketing, social media management, paid media, and publisher advertising.
- Proficient Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing.
- Creative Skills: Ability to ideate and create marketing assets for multiple digital marketing channels or platforms.
- Technical Skills: Basic, practical training in graphic design and content development, along with proficiency in developing webpages and creative/ad content using a website and marketing CMS, preferably WordPress and Hubspot.
- Analytics and Tools: Proficiency in using and optimizing digital marketing tools and platforms, including GA4, Google/Microsoft Ads, and social media platforms.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data, draw actionable customer and channel insights, and drive action.
- Prioritization and Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritize marketing initiatives efficiently, juggle multiple competing priorities, and demonstrate strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and be a positive agent of change in the organization.
