About the Role
We're on the hunt for a talented Customer Support Specialist with GDS experience to join our dynamic Support team. As a critical member of our organization, you'll be the face of Blithequark for our customers, providing top-notch support and helping them unlock the full potential of our Travel Products. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to Blithequark customers, resolving issues related to our Travel Products in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Take ownership of customer issues from start to finish, leveraging phone, chat, email, and video conferencing to ensure seamless communication.
- De-escalate and resolve complex issues by utilizing platform and industry expertise, ensuring customers receive the best possible experience.
- Document product functionality and country-specific nuances, training Global Support Team members and contributing to the growth of our knowledge base.
- Become a product expert, serving as a go-to resource for both customers and coworkers, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share insights and suggestions for enhancing our customer experience through automation or added features.
- Work effectively under time constraints, meeting schedules and deadlines to ensure clients' needs are met.
What You'll Need
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work a night shift from 10pm-6am CT.
- 3+ years of experience in a customer/client-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support.
- Experience working within the travel industry or with travel products.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Organizational skills and experience improving processes.
- Flexibility with changing job duties and responsibilities.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a TMC/BT Consultant Role, covering all supplier products (air, rail, and hotel).
- 2+ years of GDS experience (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) to an intermediate level.
- IATA accreditation (WWAFT/WAII/BA2).
