- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment for our guests, including stocking and facing merchandise, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring restrooms are clean.
- Support the store's inventory management by contributing to the loading, unloading, and stocking of merchandise according to established standards.
- Ensure that animals, birds, reptiles, and fish in the store receive high-quality care, and their living conditions are clean, safe, and secure.
- Engage in the conduct of quarterly and annual physical inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of our inventory levels.
- Devote significant attention to safety procedures, implementing and enforcing regulations and policies to ensure a clean and healthy environment for all occupants of the store.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests, colleagues, and management effectively.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
