Job Overview: Business Analyst, PBM Finance Enablement
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our PBM Finance Enablement team, focusing on Clinical contract management. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining and documenting complex technical activities associated with transformation initiatives and operational processes. You will work closely with various departments, including underwriting, information technology, finance, legal, sales, implementations, and other functional areas, to drive business outcomes and improve our PBM finance and contracting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an advisor to business and information technology teams, providing guidance on navigating technology systems, table structures, business processes, data flows, and more.
- Collaborate with matrixed business partners to translate their business vision into requirements, technical specifications, and define project approach.
- Solve complex, large-scale customer challenges to produce solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and business acumen.
- Perform as a strategic communications advisor, focusing on business transformation and communicating technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to business and technology stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical resources across agile teams, ensuring alignment on project scope, user stories, testing, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in team code reviews, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, and maintain excellent documentation of all work.
- Identify impediments to team efficiency, propose and implement solutions, and advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must exhibit the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting technical Business Operations and/or Production Support activities.
- 3+ years of technical writing, including inter-connected system diagrams and complex process flows.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics in a matrixed environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in the healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM, or pharmacy services.
- Experience with highly complex, inter-connected systems and business processes.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Master's degree.
