Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will collaborate with the design authority team to execute the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery. Your responsibilities will include researching and identifying trend directions, creating digital concept/mind-set sheets, investigating collections, shopping stores, performing competitive analysis, and pulling and reviewing fabrics, design concepts, and digital show sheets for meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify trend directions; create digital concept/mind-set sheets, investigate collections, shop stores; perform competitive analysis; pull and review fabrics, design concepts, and digital show sheets for meetings
• Identify key items with a strong brand identity
• Execute development of initial seasonal design category within the context of a larger assortment and cost structure
• Select unique artwork and curate seasonal print stories
• Work with technical design to ensure proper fit and end-use
• Work with print design to develop original prints
• Work with domestic and international suppliers directly and in-person to provide brand design direction and feedback
• Design/create according to line plans, sales needs, and emerging trends; ensure timely execution of product development schedule
• Create Artist outlines; develop tech packs
• Review and grade 3D bodies; participate in 3D Fit sessions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as fashion design or a related area. You should have experience working in the fashion industry, preferably in an apparel design role, and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop. Additionally, experience with Browzwear, Lotta, or V-Stitcher is desirable, as is familiarity with Artist outlining and tech pack development.
