Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at Bright Horizons at Boone Blvd in Vienna, Virginia. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a love of learning in young children and helping them develop essential skills and values. You will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities, documenting children's progress, and building strong relationships with families. Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement hands-on activities based on your observations of children's interests and skills
• Document and share the special moments and important milestones of the children in your care
• Develop and maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and implement curriculum and activities

Essential Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Pass required state and company background checks
• At least six months of experience working with children in a professional setting
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience working with children aged two years old
• Knowledge of NAEYC standards and curriculum design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
