About Delta Airlines and the Analytics Leader Role

The Analytics Leader role is a key position within the Airport Customer Service (ACS) Resource Support team, responsible for driving business growth and improvement through data analysis and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify areas of opportunity in the operation and use data to shape strategic business cases for improvement drives.
- Find and extract data from various sources for use in analysis and reporting.
- Build requirements and then design and develop automated reports and dashboards.
- Support process improvement and project management commitment for both individual business units and cross-divisional initiatives.
- Present findings to Handle Support and ACS leaders.
- Provide guidance to junior colleagues and collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate a team-first mentality with the success of the team and colleagues as the top priority.
- Be intellectually curious, ask questions, and speak up about ideas.
- Be a self-starter who seeks out problems to solve and then comes up with innovative solutions.
- Be a "do-er" who is not afraid of failure, but rather learns from each insight and gets to the next level.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Working knowledge with some or all of the following: SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfort with manipulating data using programming language and creating complex queries.
- Ability to work in both team and individual settings.
- At least 3 years of experience in analytics, data science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Preferred Qualifications
To give you a competitive edge, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or other relevant quantitative field.
- Experience with Airport Customer Service Key Performance Indicators and data sources.
- Experience working with payroll and workforce planning data.
