Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Data Analyst/R Developer to support our Maryland team. The Statewide Data / Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting operational and clinical contract requirements via data pipeline development and maintenance, report building, and dashboard creation. • The Data Analyst/R Developer is responsible for supporting operational and clinical contract requirements via data pipeline development and maintenance, report building, and dashboard creation. • Become a subject matter expert • Communicate data across departments and disciplines • Deliver urgent ad-hoc results to leadership and colleagues leveraging R or SQL • Work with management to create, update, and revise project plans • Adapt existing R scripts for building reports • Write novel R scripts to create aggregated data sets and reports • Create and modify data pipelines • Create and modify Power BI dashboards to project purpose, following defined branding conventions • Write and maintain project documentation • Meet with leadership and colleagues to review reports/dashboards and gather feedback • Adapt R scripts, reports, and dashboards in response to feedback • Communicate promptly with leadership and colleagues via Teams and email • Engage with colleagues for brainstorming, idea sharing, and continuous learning • Analytics Requirements: • Think outside the box • Enjoy a challenge and quickly modifying daily priorities • Happy to engage with others to learn and share concepts • Excited to work with dirty data to find business solutions • Willing to go into a prison site from time-to-time to train health care staff to use the data tools we create • Fluent in R; at least intermediate in SQL • Able to create Power BI dashboards using Power Query • At least 2 references • Complete a live coding proficiency demonstration via a Teams with management • Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, informatics, computer science, mathematics, or statistics (master's degree preferred) • 1+ years SQL experience • 3+ years R experience • 1+ years Power BI experience • Exposure to clinical datasets such as pharmacy, EMR, or claims • Exposure to Human Resources (HR) data • We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: • Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance • 401(k) with company match • Generous paid time off • Paid holidays • Flexible Spending Account • Continuing Education benefits • Much more...
