As a Coordinator, you will assist with various transaction types and support the Servicing and Asset Management group activities, ensuring timely execution of documents and coordination with stakeholders. Responsibilities - Uses an understanding of the department’s operations and business objectives to proactively assist management - Facilitates transaction related documents being executed, notarized, and delivered - Assures that loan-related contacts are identified and entered in our systems for each loan (and updated as necessary) - Assist with development and processing of reports for accurate consent tracking - Coordinates with asset managers, legal counsel, borrowers, and stakeholders to ensure timely collection and deliverables on consent packages - Assist with development and monitoring of departments policies and procedures/training modules - Assists with maintaining the GSE Asset Management department intranet site (“WD Connect”), including maintaining of department policies and procedures - Assist VP with audit document collection and schedule for GSE Asset Management department - Perform other duties as assigned Skills - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred - Previous work experience in a corporate setting, working on special projects requiring analytical, administrative, technical, and interpersonal skills preferred (in Servicing or commercial real estate finance is a plus) - Experience with GSE Multifamily Real Estate/legal documents/closing a plus - Strong business sense and ability to prioritize work as well as to find solutions to various problems while prioritizing and managing deadlines - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, judgment, flexibility, and dependability - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work as a part of a team, while providing a strong individual contribution - Excellent computer skills with ability to create and utilize spreadsheets - Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes - Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders Benefits - Up to 83% subsidized medical payroll deductions - Competitive dental and vision benefits - 401(k) + match - Pre-tax transit and commuting benefits - A robust health and wellness program – earn cash rewards and gain access to resources that promote health, engagement, and balance - Paid maternity and parental leave, as well as other family paid leave programs - Company-paid life, short and long-term disability insurance - Health Savings Account and Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending - Career development opportunities - Empowerment and encouragement to give back – volunteer hours and donation matching Company Overview - Walker & Dunlop is a commercial real estate finance and advisory firm that creates strong capital markets and investment sales capabilities.
