Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of callers, including students, parents, and educators, via phone, email, or chat.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate to senior representatives or specialized teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and understanding when dealing with difficult or tense situations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service or call center experience, preferably in a not-for-profit or education setting.
• English proficiency, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
• Empathy, compassion, and understanding when dealing with difficult or tense situations.
• Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate typing and keyboard skills, with comfort navigating PC/internet applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with CRM software or other customer relationship management tools.
• Knowledge of not-for-profit or education industry, with a passion for making a difference.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
