'Responsibilities & Tasks'

Installation, administration, troubleshooting and hardening of Linux boxes (Oracle/Red Hat)

'- Daily Operations

  • Provision servers, users
  • Installing agents (AV, PAM, Nessus agent, ...other related agents)
  • Hardening policies
  • Secure SSH, firewall,passwd, selinux , fips
  • Enable logs to SIEM
  • LVM paritioning/Extend/Reduce
  • Linux patching
  • Configure linux services (i.e. nfs, ntp, snmp, httpd, nginx, Firewalld/SELinux, Pacemaker)
  • Configure NTP clients
  • Setup company RHEL repos locally (appstream server)
  • Configure SSL certificates
  • Troubleshooting / Collaborate with Infra & APP team
  • License & SSL Management'

Kastle support

'- Support application team on log enterpretation, API connectivity

  • Deployment of EAR
  • Discuss to end users a kastle working setup'

Oracle Weblogic, OBIEE/OAS, JBOSS EAP/Wildfly, AMLOK, DMS, db products

'- Daily Operations

  • Service Start/Stop
  • EAR Deployment
  • WAR Deployment
  • Install and troubleshoot jvm
  • Heap sizing jvm
  • Interpret server and application logs
  • ODA appliance tunning
  • ODA patching
  • Vulnerabilities remediation
  • APP Patching and OS Management
  • License Management
  • ODA Life Cycle Management (Software/HW)'

Backup administration (HYCU, Qstar, Spectra Stack & Media Tapes)

'- Daily Operations (Backup/Restore/Archive)

  • Validate Backup data
  • Manage Qstar appliance
  • Manage Media Tape Offsite Services with vendor
  • Enroll/disable server to backup
  • Configure backup job logs
  • Restore a VM, sql db, oracle db, file, mailbox,...
  • Able to tech explain the issue for raising cases
  • Actively monitor backup/archive jobs
  • Configure alerts/notifications
  • Configure scheduled reports and execute on-demand reports
  • Upgrade/patch products
  • License Management
  • Perform maintenance and manage appliances (physical/virtual)
  • Life Cycle Management (Software/HW)'

Enterprise monitoring (Checkmk)

'- Enroll/disable server to monitor

  • Configure agent/SNMP/API integration
  • Actively monitor applications, services, and infrastructure
  • Configure alerts/notifications for internal & external team
  • Configure scheduled reports and execute on-demand reports
  • Provide live/historical performance report
  • Configure plugins/MiB
  • Patching
  • License Management'

Vulnerabilities Mitigation

  • Applying patches/workaround to mitigate risks
  • Addressing vulnerabilities reported by (SOC, CS team, VA/PT team, SAMA, ?)
  • Respond to CS team, IA team, and business team requirements

Disaster Recovery (DR) Tests and Drills

  • DR planning and testing for all MAF applications (Kastle WLS, AML, OBI, DMS, Masar Portal & Eservices)
  • Document Service Recovery Procedure (SRP) for related services

Health Check and Configuration Review

  • Periodic checks and system optimizations

Service Desk and Change Management

  • Respond to related incidents and requests
  • Submit CRs in accordance to change management

General Knowledge

  • DNS, load balancers, Active Directory, Oracle DB, MSSQL DB
  • Understanding Linux firewall/SELinux, reverse proxy and WAF traffic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?1,400,000.00 - ?1,700,000.00 per year
