About the Role:

As an Adjunct Faculty member in Hospitality Management, you will be responsible for teaching coursework, developing curriculum, and providing training and student support in the hospitality program. You will work closely with academic leadership and program faculty to deliver high-quality learning materials, assessments, and competencies to students. Your expertise and passion for hospitality will inspire and motivate our students to achieve their full potential and succeed in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support curriculum and assessment initiatives in both on-campus and online courses
• Collaborate with academic leadership and program faculty to deliver course learning materials, assessments, and competencies to students
• Provide training and student support resulting in graduates who meet entry and mid-level employment criteria for positions in the hospitality field
• Grade student assessments and record attendance, grades, and information regarding student progress in the Student Information System
• Support PTC student and employee events as appropriate, such as graduation, which may be held on Saturdays or evenings

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• A minimum of four years' full-time work experience in the hospitality field
• Preference given for prior teaching experience
• Must have education and work experience to demonstrate competency to teach coursework in the hospitality area for Associate Degree level programs
