Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to the financial health of multiple enterprises. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file local, state and federal tax declarations for various enterprises. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments. Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial records. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Generate financial reports, including but not limited to, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support strategic business decisions. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed. Provide financial advice and insights to support strategic decision-making. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in managing multiple enterprises. In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Sage 50) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
