Licensing & Experience Requirements
• Active Property & Casualty license required
• Active Life & Health license required
• Minimum 1 year of State Farm experience required
• Must be in good standing with applicable licensing requirements
Role Overview
As an Account Representative, your primary responsibility is driving new business and growing existing accounts. You will work with both prospective and current customers, providing guidance, recommending coverage, and closing sales.
You will also assist with light service needs, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience while maintaining a strong sales focus.
Key Responsibilities
Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies
Provide clear, accurate information about insurance products and services
Assist customers with policy applications, renewals, and updates
Handle customer inquiries while identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell
Follow up on leads and existing accounts to drive retention and growth
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
Support light service needs including basic policy changes and billing questions
Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and office production goals
Qualifications
Sales-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed goals
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence in sales conversations and closing business
Ability to multitask and manage both sales and service responsibilities
