The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise in all phases of telecommunications network design, implementation, and analysis. Key to the success of this position is the successful delivery of projects and effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status. Responsibilities • Responsible for directing technical work on projects. • Performs a variety of analyses and prepares appropriate documentation. • Prepares and makes briefings and presentations. • Leads team in on-site management of installations. • Works independently and installs, operates, maintains, configures, troubleshoots, and repairs IT systems devices, circuits, cables, components, software, and end-user devices, components, software, and connectivity. • Assists in the development and management of project plans. This includes the review of task performance and work products for correctness, for adherence to design concepts and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with schedules.Coordinate with Infrastructure Engineering team to review technical drawings, validate cable plans and coordinate cable and or power infrastructure specifics as it relates to installation of LAN hardware. • Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Qualifications • Must have minimum of 8 years of telecommunications experience with at least 7 years of local area network experience. • Excellent communication and written skills • Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight Required Skills: • Clearance: Secret • Computing Environment: CCNP or CCNP-E • Certifications: (any of the following): CCNA SecurityCySA+ **GICSPGSEC Security+ CESSCPCAPCASP+ CECISMCISSP (or Associate)GSLCCCISO About Us Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. is a woman and minority-owned business headquartered in Chantilly, VA.
