General Description: The Business Analyst will be responsible for quantitative and qualitative analytics providing product, patient and customer knowledge information to the Sales and Marketing teams. The position will interact closely with the EMEA and Global Commercial Analytics team. Reporting to the National Sales Director and dotted line to the Marketing Director, the AD Business analyst is a key team member for the Commercial success of the team in France. Essential Functions of the job: Be responsible for the development of standard deliverables such as Business Reviews, Market Reports and Weekly Sales Performance Tracking Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate salesforce effectiveness and field execution efficiency Provide ad-hoc value-add analysis and prepare regular presentations / reports highlighting market insights, trends and variances for Sales, Marketing and Senior management Responsible for communicating the dashboard during conferences, Business Reviews, Commercial meetings, and/or Weekly Sales Communication Identify and define different customer segments and take part in discussions on the on the customer strategy to be implemented and the associated sales methods Locally administer the sales team incentive compensation program. Evaluate plan effectiveness and make recommendations for plan enhancement Support Sales, Marketing and Strategic Finance in each business unit, product, or therapeutic area with analysis services Proposal of procedures compatible with objectives (e.g. for calculating return on investment) and return on investment) and territory-specific actions to be derived from the analyses Act as a local expert for the CRM and any reporting systems. Design and conduct local training for the users within the country. Collect enhancement requests from users and manage appropriate system updates Monitor technological developments and digital solutions related to the marketing products Participates in the co-construction and improvement of monitoring tools, Providing user insights to define new tools, and Informs users of new features Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources Ensure local adherence to global definitions Communicate Pharmacovigilance and complaint information according to the procedure set up by regulatory affairs department Provide inputs on business analytics, data and forecasting with active collaboration with Marketing function responsible for forecasting Participate in competitive intelligence Liaise strongly with the field team Liaise strongly with Global and Regional functions Regularly provides insights from the French affiliate to the global team. Education Required: Undergraduate degree required, MBA and/or post graduate preferred. 5 - 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
