A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available to support K-12 students through telehealth services. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of learners with disabilities, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and providing comprehensive educational support in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver specialized instruction to students with mild/moderate or moderate/severe disabilities via telehealth. • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans. • Utilize SEIS (Special Education Information System) to document student progress and manage compliance. • Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students in a K-12 environment. • Monitor and assess student performance, providing timely feedback and adjustments to instructional methods. Qualifications: • Possession of a valid California Special Education credential, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe. • Demonstrated experience with SEIS for documentation and reporting. • Proficiency in delivering virtual instruction and managing telehealth technology. • Strong understanding of special education laws, practices, and individualized student needs. Contract Details: • Location: Berkeley, CA (Telehealth-based instruction). • Job Duration: Extended School Year (ESY) through May 2026. • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week. • Position Type: 1099 contract. • Start Date: Immediate availability required.
