Overview Join Netflix's Live UI team and help build the next generation of innovative product experiences at an unprecedented global scale. Our team is responsible for the UI engineering and architecture that powers new Live viewing experiences across Netflix. We collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to bring these experiences to life for millions of members worldwide. As a senior engineer, you will technically lead and have an outsized influence and impact on the future of the Netflix experience on Android. You'll help define the roadmap, drive key engineering initiatives, and mentor less-experienced engineers. Strong project management, estimation, and communication skills are key to delivering results in our fast-paced, collaborative environment. What We’re Looking For • 6+ years of professional experience with Android development. • Deep knowledge of Android UI frameworks and best practices. • Expertise in Kotlin and Java. • Strong track record of leading projects and delivering results. • Excellent project management, estimation, communication, and collaboration skills. • Strong architecture and system design skills. • Passion for mentoring and growing less-experienced engineers. • Alignment with Netflix's culture and values. Nice to Have • Experience with Jetpack Compose, Circuit, Dagger/Hilt, or GraphQL. • Knowledge of or experience with Live streaming or Ad technologies. The overall market range for roles in this area at Netflix is typically between $100,000 and $720,000.
