What you will be doing: Understanding the project requirements : Needs to have a clear understanding of the project requirements, including the business goals and the technical specifications. Developing software applications: Should be able to write clean and efficient code to develop software applications using the .NET framework, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, LINQ, ASMX, IIS, WCF Web Services, and Entity Framework. Debugging and testing applications: Must be able to debug and test the applications to ensure they meet the project's requirements and are free of errors. Collaborating with team members: Should be able to work closely with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure that the software application is delivered on time and meets the project requirements. Maintaining and updating software applications: Maintaining and updating software applications to ensure they continue to meet the project's requirements and function as intended. Keeping up-to-date with emerging trends: Should keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies related to the .NET framework to ensure that the software application is using the latest and most efficient techniques. Providing technical support: Needs to provide technical support to end-users to help them use the software application properly. Documenting the development process: Should document the development process, including the code and any changes made to the software application, to ensure that the project can be maintained and updated in the future. What we are looking for: 1 - 5 years of relevant working experience Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of programming languages, should have proficiency in C#. Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP): OOP is a popular programming methodology, and .NET developers should have a solid understanding of OOP concepts like inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism. Experience with .NET frameworks: .NET developers should have experience with the .NET frameworks like .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework. Knowledge of web development: Knowledge of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential for .NET developers. Database management: Knowledge of database management systems like SQL Server, MSSQL is critical for .NET developers, as many .NET applications require database integration. Ability to write clean code: Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code is critical to the success of a .NET developer. Troubleshooting skills: The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly is essential for .NET developers. Good communication skills are essential for .NET developers to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC): A .NET developer should have knowledge of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Continuous learning: .NET developers should be committed to continuous learning and keeping up with the latest developments in the field to stay ahead of the curve.
