Social Media Associate – Short-Form Video, Posting & Analytics (YouTube, TikTok, IG)

We’re looking for a Social Media Associate to help turn long-form financial videos into engaging short-form content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This role is ideal for someone early in their social media career who enjoys editing, posting, and learning how content actually grows. You don’t need to be a finance expert — we’ll train you on the topics, workflows, and systems. What matters is that you understand social platforms, can recognize engaging moments, and are curious about why content performs the way it does. This role is execution-focused to start, with clear guidance and checklists. Strategy and growth responsibilities increase over time. What You’ll Be Doing 1. Short-Form & Long-Form Video Support • Review long-form videos and identify strong moments for short-form clips • Edit vertical videos using templates and brand assets • Add captions, on-screen text, and basic visual elements to support engagement and retention 2. Posting & Platform Management • Upload and schedule content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn • Follow posting and SEO checklists (titles, hooks, descriptions, links) • Ensure content is formatted correctly for each platform 3. Performance Tracking & Growth Support • Monitor basic performance metrics (views, retention, watch time, engagement) • Help identify which clips perform best and patterns worth repeating • Share simple weekly highlights on what worked and what didn’t 4. Audience & Trend Awareness • Watch competitor and similar channels for trends worth testing • Flag comments or audience questions that could inspire future content 5. Organization & Workflow • Keep video assets clearly labeled and organized • Help maintain the content calendar • Support a smooth and consistent posting pipeline What We’re Looking For (Baseline Skills) • Active user of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok • Basic video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) • Familiarity with platform analytics (YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics) • Ability to spot strong hooks and engaging moments • Comfortable following systems and checklists • Curious, detail-oriented, and open to feedback You don’t need to be an expert — just willing to learn and improve.
